E’ l’anno in cui Villa Santa Croce torna nel circondario di Caiazzo, essendo già stata assorbita dal Comune di Piana, quindi non è più comune a sé. Il decreto del Re che ristabilisce la normalità per i cittadini di Villa è quello del 4 Maggio nr. 922 “relativo alle circoscrizioni provinciali, dei distretti e dei circondari” .
